This only gradually reveals notes of canned pineapple, mint, candied grapefruit, smoke and ginger spices. The wine is juicy but at the same time a fresh acidity running through the wine and which adds quite some raciness. The clean, bright and long finish retains true Spätlese character. We would not be surprised if this beauty even gains in finesse in a decade. 2025-2045
